If you're planning a seaside vacation for two, it's worth visiting Portugal. The town of Albufeira in the Algarve region, built on the ruins of a castle, delights with its views and splendor, and dazzles with its bustle, numerous roads, hotels, and tourist attractions. You can stroll through the old town, its chaotic maze of streets suspended high above the ocean waves, go to Tres Palmeiras for a good fish, or sunbathe by the sea in the quiet, luxury, and seclusion of the slightly remote Praia Santa Eulalia.That's why I have such fond memories of our travels to Portugal. But for a truly immersive experience, you have to go to Vilamoura. Millions of euros float in the water at the exclusive marina. Crowds of tourists stroll along the promenade, dreaming of even a short ride in an ocean limousine. In the evening, they forget about their frustration in one of the numerous pubs, bars, discos, and restaurants on the marina waterfront.
